The New Hampshire Supreme Court is holding a public comment period through this Friday, May 31st, on a proposal to amend Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4. Unlike previous proposals considered by the Court or the Advisory Committee on Rules, the May 2019 Proposal is not a version of ABA Model Rule 8.4(g). This is welcome news.
Comments on the latest proposal [“the May 2019 Proposal”] may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Christian Legal Society has filed a comment letter noting the significant differences between the May 2019 Proposal and ABA Model Rule 8.4(g). The letter also notes concerns about the May 2019 Proposal and ways it could be further improved.
