Scott Boykin

Clinical Assistant Professor of Business Law, Kennesaw State University

Before beginning at Kennesaw State, Boykin was Professor of Political Science at Georgia Gwinnett College. Dr. Boykin practiced law in Alabama and Texas and served as a judicial clerk to Judge Patrick E. Higginbotham on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Boykin has published research in political theory, administrative law, and constitutional law. His book Twilight of the Constitution is forthcoming from SUNY Press. He holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law,  a Ph.D. in political science from Tulane University, a Master of Theological Studies degree from Spring Hill College, and will complete a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Georgia Southern University in 2026.
