A native of Chattanooga, Nate practiced law there as a shareholder at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel. He is a past President of the Chattanooga Chapter of the Federalist Society, has written in the Tennessee Bar Journal and National Review Online, and served as an Assistant Bar Examiner for the State of Tennessee.
Nate clerked for the Hon. Andrew Kleinfeld on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He tied for first in his class at William and Mary Law School after receiving a B.Mus. in Political Science and Piano Performance from Vanderbilt University. He is a Blackstone Fellow, Class of 2013. He and his bride Megan have three children, Noelle, Whitaker, and Juniper.
