John Greil co-teaches the Law and Religion Clinic, where he supervises student-led representations of clients in need of litigation, transaction, and consulting services. He is an active trial-level and appellate litigator in state and federal court and regularly supports clients in the United States Supreme Court. An expert on law and religion, Professor Greil also teaches a seminar titled Understanding Conservative Legal Thought. Before joining the faculty, he practiced at Vinson & Elkins LLP and clerked on the federal district and court of appeals.
