Garry Gaskins serves as Solicitor General for the State of Oklahoma. He was appointed by Attorney General Gentner Drummond in 2023. As Solicitor General, Mr. Gaskins serves as chief appellate lawyer for the State of Oklahoma. He directly handles appeals and cases determined to be most significant to Oklahoma and to the development of federal and state jurisprudence.
Prior to being appointed Solicitor General, Mr. Gaskins served as President of Drummond Law, PLLC in Tulsa, OK. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma and his law degree with highest honors from Tulsa Law School, where he served as editor of the Tulsa Law Review.
