Adam Savit

Director, China Policy Initiative, America First Policy Institute

Adam Savit is a Washington, D.C.-based global security expert who helped organize centers to analyze security threats from China at two leading U.S. think tanks. He currently serves as the Director of the China Policy Initiative with the America First Policy Institute (AFPI). He is author of a chapter on China in AFPI’s 2024 book "An America First Approach to U.S. National Security" which has influenced China policy and thought at embassies, newsrooms, and think tanks in Washington, D.C., and Asian capitals. Savit has testified in state legislatures across the U.S., including Texas, Ohio, Kansas, and South Dakota, to advocate against CCP control of agricultural land and land near military bases and sensitive infrastructure. Prior to his position at AFPI, he helped to lay the foundations for the China Program at the Center for Security Policy where he worked in research and communications roles for more than a decade. Savit is a John Quincy Adams Fellow at the Common Sense Society and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and International Relations from Pennsylvania State University. His columns have appeared in many outlets, including National Review, Washington Times, Epoch Times, and RealClearPolitics.
