Daniel Guarnera was most recently chief of the Civil Conduct Task Force at the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division. During his tenure, the task force filed significant enforcement actions in technology, agriculture, and labor markets. In the first Trump Administration, Guarnera served as a trial attorney and counsel to the Assistant Attorney General of the Antitrust. Guarnera was previously special counsel to U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley. He also worked in private practice and clerked for the Honorable Diane S. Sykes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Guarnera holds bachelor’s degrees from American University and law and business administration degrees from the University of Virginia.
