Director, Litigation, Activision Blizzard

Zac Byer is the Director of Litigation at Activision Blizzard.  Before joining Activision Blizzard in 2023, Zac was counsel and partner at King & Spalding and Kirkland & Ellis where he maintained a national practice with an emphasis on multidistrict litigation and class actions.  He represented public and private companies in a broad array of disputes including alleged economic and product liability torts, violations of unfair trade practices statutes, and public nuisance.  A substantial amount of Zac’s practice involved defending companies against high-profile claims brought by State Attorneys General and municipalities.        

 

Zac clerked for Judge Deborah L. Cook of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  He is a Double Quaker, graduating with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and College of Arts and Sciences.
