Jim Schultz is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Philadelphia and Washington offices. Mr. Schultz is a member of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group and leads the Northeast Government Advocacy Team and is a co-leader of the State Attorneys General Practice.

Mr. Schultz provides counsel to major corporations and institutional clients on legal and policy matters across wide-ranging areas, including government investigations, congressional inquiries, government contracting and procurement, federal and state ethics issues, and administrative law matters. He has counseled clients on issues involving insurance, environment, education, state antitrust, transportation and transit, and healthcare. Mr. Schultz has also represented colleges and universities in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) investigations.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Schultz worked in the Philadelphia office of an international law firm, where he led the government and regulatory practice and handled litigation matters throughout the country.

Mr. Schultz also served as a senior aide to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, where he worked on public policy initiatives throughout the region and served as the liaison to federal, state and local government, and law enforcement officials and agencies. Early in his career, Mr. Schultz spent four years as a litigator handling cases throughout the region and country. In 2004, he served as the regional field director for Bush-Cheney presidential campaign.

During law school, Mr. Schultz served as a student law clerk for the Honorable Thomas Saylor of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and immediately following law school, he served as a law clerk to the late Honorable Vincent A. Cirillo, President Judge Emeritus of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
