Jesse's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, internal investigations, and white collar criminal defense. He represents companies and individuals at all stages of investigation, litigation, and appeal, as well as in mediation and arbitration. Previously, Jesse practiced at national law firms in Indiana and Washington, D.C., and as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Indiana. During his 13 years as a federal prosecutor, Jesse led investigations into a wide variety of cases, including commercial fraud, tax violations, insurance fraud, identity theft, mail and wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and public corruption. He has tried over 20 cases to jury verdict and has handled numerous appeals, including arguments in the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Supreme Court. Jesse received awards for his service from multiple federal agencies. Jesse also clerked for Hon. Paul Niemeyer on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.


Jesse serves as an adjunct professor at the Notre Dame Law School where he teaches in the areas of trial skills and criminal law. He also coaches high school mock trial, and his teams have won the Indiana state tournament and competed in the national competition.


A longtime South Bend resident, Jesse and his wife have seven children.
