Jenny is a Shareholder and Co-Chair of Maynard Cooper’s Banking Practice.

Jenny provides specialized regulatory and general corporate advice to financial institutions of all sizes, including public and private banks, thrifts, insurance companies (and each of their holding companies) and other non-depository financial institutions.

She regularly represents financial institutions before state and federal regulators and counsels troubled institutions. Her experience includes a broad range of regulatory matters, including financial company acquisitions, interstate expansions, bank charters, holding company applications, mergers, affiliate transactions and other regulatory matters associated with the financial services industry. Jenny reviews pending state and federal legislation and advises clients about the potential effects of changes to banking, insurance and other financial services laws and regulations. She is a regular speaker to banking and financial services associations on a variety of subjects, including the Dodd-Frank Act.

Jenny’s experience includes structured finance and the representation of issuers in securitizations and re-securitizations. She is also experienced in the secondary mortgage market on both the investor and seller sides.

Her talents and skills in the banking field have earned her numerous accolades, including the esteemed recognition as a Leading Practitioner in the area of Banking and Finance: Mainly Regulatory by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.
