Daniel Ruesta is an Antitrust and Competition Law Associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. He has counseled clients in a wide variety of matters across multiple industries, including healthcare, petrochemicals, freight shipping, and telecommunications. Daniel's merger experience spans all phases of the merger review and investigations process before the Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and international competition authorities.

During law school, Daniel interned at the FTC's Mergers I Division, where he worked on merger reviews related to the construction and life sciences sectors, and served as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. He also provided legal assistance to veterans through the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic, a commitment he continues with the firm's strong pro bono practice. He also served as Notes Editor for the William & Mary Law Review.
