Blaine Adamson owns Hands On Originals, a promotional printing company. Blaine has declined a number of requests to create shirts based on the message requested by customers. When he declines a message, he refers the customer to a nearby printer. But when Blaine declined a message promoting a gay pride festival, the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Human Rights Commission pursued charges of discrimination against his business. Represented by ADF, Hands On won at the state trial court and court of appeals.
